A New Chapter
ASTER entered a new era with the launch of its Winter Edition, officially becoming a twice-yearly festival. The expanded format was met with an enthusiastic audience, a stronger international program and record attendance, confirming the festival's evolution while preserving its independent spirit.
A Festival in Motion
ASTER continued to grow, introducing outdoor screenings, live artistic experiences and an increasingly international audience, marking its strongest edition to date.
Expanding the Program
With a richer selection of documentaries, animation and experimental works, the festival broadened its artistic direction while staying true to its intimate atmosphere.
Growing the Community
The second edition welcomed more filmmakers, new international selections and its first Q&A sessions, establishing ASTER as a recurring meeting point for independent cinema.
First Edition
